Bios and Mission Statement
I recently retired after 37 years with the Department of Veterans Affairs in the engineering department. I was in the U.S. Air Force from 1970-1974. I have been a Santa for about 20 years now, where I first started was simply wearing a red sweatshirt and the Santa hat walking around at Christmas time and I started to get comments about how much I looked and seemed just like the real guy. I looked at the wife I asked what she thought and she told me "you would be a great Santa" I thought about it because I really only wanted to see and make those I met smile and enjoy the spirit of what Christmas is Sharing and giving the from the heart.
So I went out in 1991 and purchased my first suit at J.C. Penny's and gave it a try, when I had the first child sit in my lap and look up at me and say "Hi Santa, I love you" I was hooked. I have always tried to be and act as I think Santa himself would want me to act. Well I think everyone knows the rest of this story....
I am real bearded and am naturally white in almost my entire head except my eyelashes and they are salt and pepper. My wife Diana who is my Mrs. Claus is my gift from God. She is what makes me what I am, and we have been married for 31 years in June and it seems just like yesterday. We have three boys Mike, Brian and Matt and Alisha our daughter-in law we also have four grandchildren all from Mike and they are Adrianne, Brooke, Casey and Dylan and they have so I am told got Pappaw wrapped around their fingers, well I guess it could be possible.

Jerry is a Hospice trained volunteer and makes visits to nursing homes, and as requests are made. Jerry also visits with young children as Santa when ever the request is made of Santa to be with a patient. He visits with the children of Camp Quality which is a camp for children with cancer and tries to make their Christmas something special. He also visits with the children of Kourageous Kids which is a part of the Hosparus program for children and Santa visits with them as needed and during the Christmas season also.
Santa Jerry is also a member of Santa-America which tries to give all those the gift of Love, Hope and Joy. Our goal is to bring a little of Santa in everyday situtations so as to spread the joy of Christmas, as a member of Santa-America Santa Jerry also makes himself available to our military and their families to help make the burden of being away from home while seving our country a little bit easier. Santa Jerry will visit military posts, bases etc. and will try and bring a smile to all those he meets.
Jerry Owens has been entertaining children of all ages both young and old since 1991.
Jerry is a year round bearded Santa professionally trained with a soft smile and a warm heart, giving joy and happiness to all he meets.
Jerry has a custom made suit, Real Santa Belt, Sleigh Bells, Santa Boots and all of these help to make his appeareances and time with you believing once again in the magic of Christmas. Santa offers a magical and wondrous visit for each and every one with the emphasis on the children.
Home visits with Jerry can be most anything you would like from a Christmas sing-a-long, to reading a story, sitting and talking with each child as he passes out the gifts (provided by you). There is no rush as in the malls and his attention focuses on the child in his lap to help make this a visit they will remember the rest of their lives. The average Santa visit last about 30 minutes to an hour, fees are based on an hour visit.
Have you ever wondered how to give that special gift to that someone special? Have Jerry do it or even help you do it. Santa can help with the keys to that new car or maybe a beautiful diamond ring! It doesn't have to be Christmas to make some one smile!
Santa will be glad to come to your Corporate or Private party events. Santa's services are by the hour and can include photo opportunities, sing alongs, presenting special gifts (provided by you) and or awards, the way that Santa can assist you is up to you!
For your peace of mind and security upon request we can provide a Certificate of Insurance and a clear Criminal Background check completed each year.

In closing people have asked me over and over "Why do you do what you do" for me it is about making the visit I have with every child, senior, mom and dad something that they will hopefully go away saying to themselves "that is what I hoped Santa would be like" for to me the smile of a child is similar to the MasterCard commercial "for somethings there is MasterCard and others there is a smile and it is just priceless!
